At one of the early weekends at Ari Loren's westchecter house, which one
is not known, we were hanging around his basement when someone (Nay) found
a stock of canned baby corn. There were more than a dozen cans at the
begining of shabbat, amybe as many as twenty. When shabbat was over,
there was one can left, and that can was there only because Ari didn't
want us to completely wipe out his mothers stock of baby corn. Thinking
that he was going to get introuble for letting us eat all that we did, Ari
did not tell his mom about the baby corn for a week or so. When he
finally told his mom, he was chagrinned to find out that she wouldn't have
minded if we had eaten the last can as well. After that, Ari's mom
actually stocked the stuff for us. What a sweet lady.
