Yadaim Limala, Al HaRosh, Al HaKtefaim. Echad Shtaim Shalosh While we were in Israel, many of the Kotel crowd freaquented a bar called the Rock Bar. While there we learned an interesting way to do Tequilla Slammers. Everybody would prepare their slammers and then line up. Some one with a loud voice(this later became my job) would the YELL the following:
"Yadaim Limala(the drinkers would put their hands straight up in the air), Al HaRosh(then they would put their hands on their heads), Al HaKtefaim(and the on their shoulders). Echad Shtaim Shalosh.(Andthen slam their drinks three times and down them in one gulp)"
This was fien for Israel where the rest of the bar at least knew what we were doing. When we got back to America, some of us got together at the West End bar up near Columbia, and decide to do some slammers. SO there I am standing on a chair, with Ari Loren and Nay getting ready to slam. The bar is crowded and noisy so I really had to scream to be heard, but it went dead silent after the first words. So now we have the attention of the entire bar, watching us while I yell and they drink, and Ari makes Nay laugh so she ends up with her slammer coming out her nose. A lovely show for the entire bar.
We still do slammers in this manner.
